What settings do you recommend capturing with using the Winfast 2000 card and output to author a DVD? Most importantly I want the video to look good and the video/audio to be in sync.
Should I have 4000 variable bitrate?
What bitrate for Audio MPEG1 please?

For DVD authoring use the MPEG2 presets, using the optimal preset will give you about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of video. The next step down (using 4000 vbr) will fit more video on the disc but will reduce quality. Try both and see what you like. Use at least 192 kbps for the audio.
If you use mpeg1 to remain DVD compliant you have to select the VCD preset, there's no adjustments there absolute. -
