Besides the posts about read errors, I am curious as to how you guys backed up Star Wars Trilogy dics. I bought the set yesterday when it came out but I have kids and don't want them to ever use the originals.
I noticed there are three angles of the whole movie for A New Hope.
I went to backup only the first angle with all english tracks and english subs. Even with only these options it is a 63% compression in DVDShrink for the reauthor option. What did you guys do and how successful (in quality) were the backups????

I don't have Star Wars on DVD but for the best quality use the latest version(3.2.0.15) of DVDShrink and use Deep Analysis with AEC(Max Smoothness).
