I'm still new at this and in the experimenting stage. I am trying to convert .avi to MPEG-2 using TMGEnc (the demo version).
I really only have one file to work with and it is huge. I am trying to encode just a small portion of it to see if it works.
Here's the problem: If I use the Wizard, I can edit out a small portion of the video and encode it, but I can't figure out how to load a template.
If I don't use the Wizard I can load a template, but I can't figure out how to edit out a small portion of the video.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Dwayne,
Click on "Settings" and then click the "Advanced" tab. You will be able to select your source range there.
