    If I have two images (both 720x240, one field A, one field B), is there some way I can combine them together (other than M$ Paint ) to make one 720x480 image?

    Tray naming them sequentially (eg. pic01, pic02) and loading them into an editor. Most allow the loading of stills. Set the project preferences to "Interlaced", and play with the field order until it looks OK
