All my blank cds hold 650mbs and I need to squeeze a bit more divx footage onto it. What's the best way to go about this and maintaining as much quality as possible? Thanks

  2. You could use VirtualDub to chop the credits off, or recompress the video.

  3. Buy CDRs that will hold more data, I use 99min (870mb) cdrs. You may be able to make do with 80 min (700mb) cdrs.

Use a burner with HD burn and get over a gig onto one cd.

All of the answers you get, you may not like. CD's are so cheap now-a-days that buying a 700mb disc is sometimes free ar.

Do you need special softwares to burn oversized CD-Rs? Or would Nero do the job?

    Thanks

  6. Nero, when setup correctly, will burn these just fine.

I was just hoping as my movie just goes over the cd size that perhaps there might be some way I could compress it. I want to get rid of the amount of cds I have first before buying a bigger size. I don't need to convert it to mpeg either as I can view it through my divx player. I was just wondering if it were possible to reduce the size a bit like you do with dvd shrink It's no big deal, if there isn't a way I will just have to put it on a dvd or something
