I can get sound from everything else. When I open a midi file in WMP or Winamp, the progress bar moves, but there is no sound. I reinstalled my sound card drivers, no good there. What am I missing?

I know there's specific settings for midi recordings- volume, device etc. Open up your soundcards configuration and snoop around, I know on mine midi volume is listed on the main panel. Might want to look in control panel>sounds and audio devices too.
