  1. I've just about finished software to fix audio video desyncs after compiling a DVD... I have this problem all the time, how many other people run into this problem? I'm curious. I am going to get the program put into the tools section here.

I have it a lot of the time too. Based on reading here over the last 18 months or so I'd say quite a few people have that problem at least occasionally.

  4. Here's a link to download it. It's still in alpha stages, but it works pretty well. You will have to demultiplex the audio from the source video, and if necessary, convert it to WAV format. Then you can run it through this program. Convert it back to MP2 audio when it's done, and re-multiplex it with the video. Then you can re-author the disc, and it should be in sync.

I hope this helps some people out!

  5. How do you convert MP2 to WAV and WAV to MP2?

    Whats a free demultiplexing program?

  6. freeware demultiplexer: http://www.moonlight.co.il/download/#Xmuxer

Winamp can be used to conver MP2/MP3 to WAV (use the diskwriter output plugin that comes with it, and ffmpegGUI can be used to convert back to MP2)

    everything i listed is freeware.

Also, when using my program, be wary of the "auto offset" detection feature... it's kinda buggy right now.
