I captured analog TV with the capture feature of "Main Concept MPEG Encoder", using the "NTSC DVD" format. How then do I burn that resulting mpg file?
When I try with Nero, it tells me that I can only burn an ifo, vob, or bup file to a DVD. If the file needs to be converted further, then what's the use of capturing in the "NTSC DVD" format to begin with.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to "author" the mpeg-2 file to make it DVD compliant. Look for the guides on the left for "authoring" and you'll have your answer.
