i just noticed that my rip speed of dvds to hdd is locked at 2x, and 2.9x at the highest.
it only does this for my notebook dvd-rom/cd-rw drive, it's a HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4241N 0C29.
but on my desktop, i use a lite-on internal 411s dvd+-rw drive, and it rips much faster.
anybody now if there are firmware to release the locked 2x speed?
btw, im using dvd decryptor, ISO read.
