  1. I have a project done using DVDit. The total size is 5.08 GB, I know I'm over the limit to burn to a single layer recordable. What I'd like to do is create a DVD folder using DVDit and then use DVDshrink on it accordingly to get it down to 4.37 GB.

There's a custom size field in the video specs window, what value do I enter to make it work?.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Anyway, in DVDit! go to the PROJECT SETTINGS area, and enter in the number in megabytes (9000 is good) in the output size, then press the ENTER key. It'll pop up as "User (8.79GB)". I have this on mine, so I can author as large as I need.

Not that obvious. I did it by accident the first time, took a while to figure it out the second time. I've been there myself. Years ago at this point, but I understand.
