    i have been using shrink and decrept for a while now and have been using maxell dvd-r disk , i have hand no trouble burning with 4 x speed.

    now everytime i burn with 4 x it gets to 99 percent and i get a burn error , i have burned over 200 disk at this speed and now it wont? i burn with 2x and it completes the disk?

    any ideas on this , i have done nothing different or updraded anything

    Bad batch of media?

    I was buying Maxell -R and all of a sudden the media went from TYG01 to Ritek G04. My Panny E50 promptly choked on them. I bought straight TYG02 and it's happy again.

    Maybe the same happened to you?

    Sounds like media .... is 99% at the 4.3 GB limit .. or close?
