  1. Hi, i have a question here...
    http://forum.midiaddict.com/viewtopic.php?t=47095

Also, i will soon have a centrino laptop with a dvd writer and i want to be able to put the 18 mpeg2 files on to video cassete. I have a stereo nicam video recorder with av connections (video and stereo sound), it also has scart and arial inputs like standard players, how can i set up to record the 18 mpeg2 videos from my laptop to video? I need them to play with no gaps, (im putting them on casset for a freind who wants my dvd in america, and i cant get my dvds working, cassete is a better option for me anyways over dvd.

    Thanks all.

It really isn't that hard to create a custom DVD with the basic features you require using a program like TMPGEnc DVD Author.

For VHS, your laptop's graphics card would need to have video out on it. Most have either composite or S-Video which can go into most VCRs given the correct leads AFAIK. That said, I don't know whether the quality of output from Video Out will be that crash hot.

Ideally you should be using something like the ADVC-100 I would've thought.
    If in doubt, Google it.
