Ordered 2 cake boxes of TY discs via 2nd day air, and they shorted me 1 box...???
I notified them, now for over a week, and they have yet to make any comment....just that they would check into the situation.
They wanted to know what the shipping package looked like - what it said on the outside of the box if anything. All kinds of stuff? I scanned the packing list, the UPS label, pic of the box, etc., and sent it all to them...NO REPLY!!! The UPS label says 4lbs at the top, so I am thinking they are assuming it had both packaged??? No way shipping weight would be listed as 4lbs for 1 cake box, so I guess I am shafted unless I dispute the credit card statement...

Christine at Meritline has completely taken over the problem and shipped the product due. They satisfied the situation very promptly and courteously ---- CAN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER !

I have had the same kind of luck with Meritline. Their shipping policy and their customer service is the worst I have seen. Call your credit card company and next time purchase TY discs from http://www.rima.com

meritline has horrific customer service and a terrible reputation. Not only on this site but on every other forum i've read on such as doom9, cdfreaks, and cdrinfo. Someone from meritline posting here to me is very laughable as they are a terrible online vendor. The only time they seem to want to rectify someone's terrible experience is when they post it on a forum. That's really sad. Using an excuse about growing this and thousands of orders that is a joke too, other online sites have a lot of volume too but you only read positive things about most of those sites.
A simple search for meritline on this forum will bring up hundreds of people who can't stand them and who won't use them again, i'm just one of the many. Hope your situation gets resolved, but I'm sure it will since you are a member of a forum.

yea, meritline has a very bad reputation alright I wish I woulda known about sites like this six months ago. I never got any response or got a return call or email for defective discs I received. 25% of them were damaged upon arrival and the others were scratched and had fingerprints on them. After reading for a little while on sites like this I found out how truly putrid meritline is. Good thing I was only out a small amount compared to others who got taken by them. I "obviously" never even thought about buying from them again, nor would I. I've been golden since.
-
of course you reccomend them, you just registered, have one post, and your location is in California. Being that you probably work for meritline, I'd suppose you would say you haven't had any issues with them. Too bad 90% of the people that "count" have had issues and wouldn't use meritline again if they were the last online vendor on the face of the earth.

I'm not new, not by any means, and I recommend Meritline too. Great company to buy from.
I think my only complaint was in the past, more than a year ago, they had a purchase system that allowed you to buy discs that were out of stock already, and sometimes even outright discontinued. That angered me a bit, but they never charged until the order was shipped. Old complaint, no longer applies.
The other thing, during the big RITEKG03 days, shipping was horribly slow. Again, old complaint, no longer applies.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

ahh, aanaravs, good find. I didn't wanna get scorched for making an accusation that couldn't be 100% founded, but boy, it sure looks 100% now. That's just really pathetic to do this type of thing.
On another note, of course lordsmurf would reccomend meritline and be the only one out of 100 to do so. No more attacking people when they justly bash supermediastore, now it's meritline, or is this just some b.s cover to hide your many attempts to promote, market and advertise for supermediastore?

aanaravs, in California, thousands of persons named helen, just like in New Jersey, thousand of persons have the same name as you. I DO NOT know who is that helen, how old she/he is... But I know myself. I just want to share my experience to everyone here. If you have complaint about Meritline, it's you own thing, I never mind.
-
What exactly is that post supposed to say. When I click on the link it takes me to profile for Helen and says nothing under then junior member
Oh, and the broken English being typed by "HELEN" is almost a dead give away as the people I spoke to from meritline when I had my issues had broken English and sounded of some Oriental decent. They spoke exactly how Helen writes. You don't have to be all that bright unfortunately for meritline to figure out this helen person is a phoney and their post is complete bologna.
-
aanaravs, I don't care who that "Helen" is, a moderator, a manager, even a president! It's none of my business. In your mind, a person named "Helen" can't recommend meritline at all, no matter who is she, right? It's ridiculous and unacceptable! I'm a student abroad from China, I have my own name, "Helen" is just an English name I use in US. I really didn't expect it would cause such a big problem. Maybe I will change another name!
Mortomer, I know my English is poor, but it's very impolite to laugh at others. I really didn't know you - an American treat a foreigner in such a "friendly" way. English is not my mother tongue, you know. Can you speak Chinese? Can you go to a Chinese forum to post your opinion or experience in Chinese? In China, I have a lot of foreign friends, they speak "broken Chinese", but every Chinses will say: "Great, you are great! " I'm very upset met such a rude person in US!
Finally, I'm curious. Maybe Mortomer works for a competitive company of meritline. In order to beat meritline, he will do anything, including hurt an innocent person like me! DO NOT think you are the cleverest person in the world. Please use your head, if I was "Helen" work in meritline, would I use the name "Helen" to post recommend? Certainly not, crazy man!
-
My goodness, why such an uproar? I'm sorry, this Helen person must be working for meritline. Look at how big of a deal they are making over this and as was pointed out by someone else, they've never posted on this forum before this?? I couldn't ever see myself or anyone making this kind of commotion over something like this unless they directly worked for the company they are attempting to defend. Thanks to people on this forum and others I learned about how terrible meritline was early on and didn't get burned like so many other people. Just reading this post here makes me definitely against meritline with attempting to pull tactics like this and promote themselves like this. If I even ever were to consider meritline for a purchase in the future, I certainly woudln't do it now after reading this. Meritline has just buried themselves even deeper in the hole (if that's even possible) as far as i'm concerned.

somewhere in the world, people @ meritline are laughing, we are free advertising them. whether this helen is their helen, whether to buy or not to buy at meritline, everyone is mentioning meritline. to me, i started to purchase media 3 months ago, i got it from newegg and supermedia and meritline, i rreally didn't have a problem with anyone of them. but now, it seems that so many people are against meritline, that makes me wonder, maybe it is the biggest among the three, otherwise, why everyone cares about meritline so much?

hopeinlife, as far as shills go, lordsmurf is the worst of them. I almost pissed my pants I laughed so hard when they said there are "shills" who bash meritline and say buy this or buy that because that's what this lordsmurf person has been doing for supermediastore for who knows how long. There aren't any shills that have bashed meritline, do a search, you'll see hundreds of people who will tell you meritline is horrific, and that's because they ARE. There's really no rocket science in this at all. The company is crappy and although supermediastore is a little better, it's just sickening how this guy can post his spam crap on the forums while bashing and attacking people in the process. I'd have to think that forum administration is aware of the problem and will take the proper action if it continues.

Mortomer you dont know wut you are talking about... you are very ignorant indeed. Saying that they speak "broken" english shows that. there has to be MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT SPEAK BROKEN ENGLISH, and the fact that u said that bit about the chinnese, THERE ARE MORE CHINNESE THAN ANY OTHRE RACE!!!!!! your aoragance is fuming off u
