burning vcd

hey, can any1 help me on how to burn a vcd? the exact steps? cause, i converted it to mpg, then, i dont kno wat to do? can i just burn it right away? or, do i need a special burning prgram to burn? also, if the mpg is 99%, and it saisd the sound isnt right, but, i play the mpg, with the 99%, the sound comes out fine, so, if i burn it like this, will it work on my dvd player? please msg as soon as possible!
