    Hi,

    When trying to play media such as mpeg and avi in Win media player I get nothing but sound. I have installed Nimo Codec pack.
    I have as well tried different players with the same result;
    either just playing the sound or "unable to play the file".

    I have checked the files with Virtual Dub and they are "as they should be".

    Please help me.

    1) Don't use WMP. It sux big time since V 6. Try Media Player Classic.
    2) Codec packs in general, and Nimo in particular can ruin the best of systems. Only install the codec you need, and nothing else.

    in addition to avi's and mpegs, i can't even play mp3s

    when i open winamp my computer lags big time
