    is there a software out there where i can fax on the web without a fax modem???? it should be something out there now for dsl and cable modems!!?!?!?!?!?!

    Not that I know of.

    Someone askid this question a month or so ago, and I seem to remember you need a fax modem.

    Service is $9.99 a month or so for the plan I'm using. Faxes are emailed to me in PDF format. I've got a local number.

    Service is pretty good. Recommended.

    Why not just buy a faxmodem?

    They aren't expensive.

    You can get on for about $10

    You do not need a second phone line and no monthly subscription.
