I was just wondering what program people use to capture with a winfast tv 2000 card. I used the winfast wizard and It worked ok. The only problem was a color jumping which will change slightly. For example skin tones will go from flesh color to like a pink color. Other than that the quality was excellent. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Rawskillz,
I use virtualVCR under my Winfast TV2000 XP "Expert" card. It uses WDM
drivers. Some people refer to it as VVC.
The card I have is the one with the Conexant's CX23883-19 chip, and the
boards version is: ASSY REV C stampled on it.
Now, there's another WDM driver compatible app.. iuVCR however. I don't
like it, because it DOES NOT lock the video's FPS (ie, it's never 29.970fps
even when you set it that way)

I have tried a couple of other programs like virtual vcr, power producer, and power vcr II and all gave me the same color jumping. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you updated to the latest drivers and software? I just looked the last release was in August.

You capture what?
If you capture VHS / SVHS tapes, then this "jiltering" might be your VCR's fault .
In that case, you have to change VCR and since you use NTSC, you also might consider one with a built in TBC .
If you don't wish to change VCR, then try a TBC unit. Sometimes TBC helps on NTSC issues like this...La Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli
