  1. I have some mpeg files that I wanted to burn as DVD video, but after I burned to DVD, the sound and the picture don't match. The mpeg files work fine when I played on computer, only after I burned as DVD video there is problem, anyone know why?

    thank you.

What are the specs on your mpeg? You can check it with avicodec.

Is the sync out by a constant amount or does it get worse as it goes along? Is it in sync after authoring but before burning?

What method and programs did you use to make your DVD?

Without details it's impossible to guess the problem.

  3. the soudn problem get worse and worse as the video is playing

I just use the dvd factory program to dvd the mpeg as normal dvd. Did re-ecoode it

I use the program to check the video is show like
    video MPG1 = MPEG 1 (VCD), Supported
    audieo Mpeg-1 audio Layer 2 [0xc0], Supported

does that mean is not support for dvd ?

Do i need to re-ecode the file if I want to burn it as dvd ?

    thx

If you are refering to the program Ulead MovieFactory, then in the settings there is a check box for " do not convert compliant dvd"

If it is checked, then it should not re-encode unless you have edited file
