    Hi guys,

    Ive got a Xvid file here, although there is no sound. Does it mean its been ripped incorrectly?

    When I look at the file through Gspot, it shows that it the audio is AC3 and I have the correct codec installed. Tried playing it through WMP10 and also PowerDVD, but to no avail. Any ideas?

    P0ssibly. Load the original video into Gold Wave, and see if it can play the audio.
