Anyone know if copying/writing to DVD using ISO image is any better than using File option in DVD Shrink? I have tried both and it seems that ISO image only works about half the time. I get blue screen or PC just reboots itself before writing to the DVD. I seem to have no problem when writing to file with DVD Shrink. Is copying to ISO image just another way to do this and is there a difference in quality with either method?
Thanks for any help.

No difference, just more burning programs can burn image files than data and its easier to move around without losing files.

I go to ISO so it can use DVDDecrypter to burn with. Haven't had an issue yet and I prefer it to using Nero with DVDshrink simply because it keeps the program open with Nero.

Funny,
I had the same question. Using two different burners, I burned a couple of Ritek G04 disks, using the same ISO file. I can post the results later (not with me now) but I have found that the best result where achieved when using ISO file (either Nero or DVD decrypter). Nero with video files had more PI/PIF.
