  1. Hi,

I was wondering what I should encode my avi at? It has a DAR of 1.5, so should I encode it at 4:3 or 16:9? I have never encountered a DAR that is right in the middle of both aspect ratio's. The avi's resolution is 720x480 if it matters. These stats were given to me by Gspot.

    Thanks for any help.

720 X 480 is already a legitimate NTSC DVD size, so just encode it to mpeg2 at 720 X 480, and author/burn it as a standard DVD
