I am going to go NUTS!!!
Okay, I just got this R200 Printer, and Im trying to print an Insert on some Photo Queality Inkjet Paper... Well, I thought this printer had borderless printing... Everytime I click borderless, is going back to regular and says I can only use borderless on photo paper and matte paper... I got this printer so I dont have to tape strips of paper to the end of each to make it print... How do I fix it to print correctly? LMK thanks
Chris

You are using the wrong type of paper for borderless, even if I didn't have this printer, you answer your own question in your post. I use the photo
quality inkjet paper to do my covers also, just set the paper to maximum and set the print size to 183mm x 274mm and you will have no problems -
Okay, I think I got the size worked out, however their is a new problem... The very first insert I made had sharp coler and picture, however, its cut off... Now though after printing they all come out crappy color... They all look like they were printed on regular paper, when this is Photo inkjet paper... I did not change anything that I know of... How do you make it sharp again like the first one? LMK ASAP

I hate to ask the obvious, but you do have photo quality paper selected in the printer options, right?
-
yeah... I did that... And its a lot closer, but the first time, it printed a lot faster, and the coler was still brilliant like this...
-
If I were you, I would go through each and every option you have (just looking, not necessarily testing) and make sure it's where you want it to be. Things like, quality setting to high, vibrant color on, etc...
I have a Canon, so I don't know what your options are, but I can set the sharpness level, color level, etc...
Slower printing generally means higher quality printing. So unless you're in a mad rush, let it take it's time. Photo printing should take a while. I only print fast when I'm printing text. -
And stop wasting all that photo paper. Practice on regular paper if you can. But if you must use photo paper to see the quality, then print a small image on various places on the paper using different options each time. When you find the one you want, print the big one.

Only certain sizes and type of paper can be printed borderless. You cannot use regular paper seting. It is primarily for 4x6 5x7 and 8x10 although i'm quite sure one can circumvent that.

Check to make sure that you have it set for photo quality. I have the R300, and if I reset the printer (ie turn it off), then it goes back to the default draft print mode. You have to go in and set it to high quality print for each print session.
I haven't tried printing to inserts yet, but I can't see why the epson won't allow borderless prints. -
I got everything worked out... The only thing that still makes me wonder, is that the first thing I printed had a excellent quality picture. Looks just like the real thing... then, it started printing like a printer would on normal paper. (less detail, lighter in coler)... Once I set it to the paper I had, it was back to the nice coler, except I tiny tiny bit ligher (no big, looks just like the real thing aswell)... Anyone know how the first printed fast yet it was equal to the slow printed one?

Also, how accurate are the ink measured shown on screen while printing... Is this thing an ink guzzler? Seems to go pretty fast...
