  1. I only need to change the resolution of an mpeg I have. it is currently 512 X 384. I want to resize it because TDA won't take that size for dvd...

    How do I keep the same bitrates (VBR) and just do a resize?

    You can't. But pick 352x480 and it'll be fine. Or 704x480
