  1. I was thinking about picking up a 5 pack of D_skins for my DVD+RW's which I use frequently. The D_skin website says that you can take them off, but that they are not meant for constant removal. My question is can you burn through a D_Skin?

I doubt it, but I haven't tried. Burner's aren't perfect as they are, putting something else between your disc and the laser will only make it worse. But if you have D_skins, then give it a shot. It will probably pop up an error right away.

I don't see why they can't be removed often. But I don't have any, so I couldn't tell you much about them.

  3. I don't think it will work, but I will give it a try. If not I wil just stick them on my SW Trilogy DVDs.

Basically, it is a removable clear label that covers the underside of a DVD or CD. It helps protect the Disc from scratches, etc. Supposedly information can be read through the cover.

They're a little expensive for CD-R/DVDR. A little over a buck a piece. I guess if your information is really valuable though.

  6. It would be cheaper to back up a DVD then to use a D_skin. The only thing I am going to use them on are may XBOX games, and if possible my DVD+RW's.
