  1. When I try to split AVI files, I get the following message."Virtualdub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatability. This may introduce up to 17535 ms of skew from the video stream." If I press "OK", it splits them for me, but the audio/video sync is not right when completed. I would think maybe its the particular AVI, but it happens with every AVI I try it with. It didnt always do this, I used to be able to split with no problems. Can anyone help? Thanks

  2. This happens to me all the time. Open the audio up in Goldwave and save it as a .wav. Then use that as the sudio source. Goldwave is shareware, but you get 3,000 commands so it will last you a while\.
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours.
