Hi all,
Just having a bit of trouble with DIKO. Im trying to convert a xVid > DVD, although the file it generates is a .mpv file.
Ive made sure the "Create DVD image" box is checked, and have tried twice, but it still just spits out the .mpv file.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

DIKO is relatively new and the occasional bug is to be expected. I played with that program several times and recall something similar happening once. Could've been corrupt data in the audio that caused BeSweet to choke, who knows? I was just messing around and didn't try very hard to get to the bottom of it. Anyway, I just used ffmpegGUI to convert the audio to ac3, renamed the mpv to m2v and authored with the elementary streams. Worked fine. Have you tried to view the mpv file? If it plays okay, you might try the above method.
Good luck.
P.S.: you could also try re-installing DIKO, and take special care you set it up properly. Also, it's usually a good idea to scan an AVI for bad frames first in VirtualDub before doing a conversion, just in case you haven't been.Pull! Bang! Darn!
