I just purchased the Panasonic DVD-RP56. Can anyone recommend how to play VCDs? Any recommended software for my computer? Any recommended type of CD? The manual says it will play "VCD"s. Appreciate any help.

  2. If you just bought a standalone Panasonic then take it back to the store and get your money back because they SUCK.

Get a Pioneer 503 or 535 DVD Standalone. I hope the MP3 playback feature didn't sucker you in. It suckers everyone else in.
