  1. I was wondering what the best settings are to capture tv.

I have a WinTV-GO that I use to capture tv.

I am using PowerVCR 2 to capture, but there are so many settings to use that I have no idea what to pick! I would like to watch it at full screen too and not take up tons of gigs on my harddrive or DVD

So what settings should I use or do you suggest another program to capture tv?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You could use your lowest dvd quality setting if your JUST watching TV and not recording. That would give you a decent picture but not waste a lot of temp file space. If your capturing for dvd you could use the highest setting and shrink it after you author with dvdshrink. If you don't want to lose quality determine the length you need and choose one of the lower dvd settings so it will fit without shrinking. Each situation is different so there's no real ABSOLUTE best setting.
