    The Qs I have rock on dry pavement, but you'll wear them out faster running them like that. I only put mine on after we get a lot of snow or ice, otherwise once the roads are clear and the weather is nice I go back to my all-seasons. I have 4 sets of tires for the Subaru

    - Yokohama AVS S2 performance all seasons on 16s
    - Hakkapellita Q winter tires on 15s
    - Pirelli K4 gravel tires on 15s
    - Toyo Proxes RA-1 competition tires on 17s

    Hakkapellita Q are now discontinued -- now they are selling the 2's and rsi instead .. i wonder what the differance is .

    other than i see 205/50/16 are now 1" larger dia. oddly enough in the 2 and the q and rsi models ...

    Wow, I'm glad I got mine before they stopped making them. Those tires are going to be sorely missed

    The 2s would be the next best bet, you don't have to stud them. They must be the passenger equivalent of the Hakka 1s used in rally.
