    This problem just started and I cant figure out where it came from mpeg 1 and 2 video when playing back is blocky and jumps. It just started and all other formats play fine. I reinstalled my codecs and still get the same problem I thought maybe it was media player 10 but when I put 9 back on it still gave me the same playback any ideas?

    Try a program like media player classic or vlc media player or even powerDVD
