  1. I am using Nero 5.5.9, I have a file that is too big to put on an 80 min disk. When I put a 90 min in it still says there is not enough space on the disk when I know there is. It dosn't seem to know that it is a 90 min and not 80. Do I have to adjust the settings in any way.

    many thanks

Yes, there is a setting that allows Nero to recognize a larger disk. I can't open Nero just now, otherwise I'd tell you where it is, but I know there is one. There are burners that can not burn more than 80 minutes, so it is possible that that is the problem.

  3. My burner is a Pioneer and I am able to burn with Alcohol 120 using 90 min disks.

Do you mean that the status marker is red after 80 minutes or that it simply will not burn more than 80? You can change the status bar by going to File>Preferences>General and changing the 80 to 90.
