    i dont know if this is possible, but im trying to take a song from a dvd. how can i extract the audio and then edit it so i end up with the song i want? if so, what is a good program to do it.

    Try my guide here. Follow this guide down until the part that starts with "Go to the Stream Processing tab, and tick Enable stream processing if it is not already ticked...." and replace it with:
    In the Streams section, click the none button – this will untick all streams. Tick only the stream you require. Make sure that "Demux to Extra file" is selected for the stream you have ticked.
    If in doubt, Google it.
