  1. Hi all,

    whats happend when I insert a DVD-R with MP3-Files into a Standalone-DVD-Player? Is it possible to play MP3-Files from a DVD-R?

    Thanx for answering.
    Regards,
    Andreas.

  3. Been wondering this myself. Thinking of buying a Pioneer DV-545. If I burnt a DVD-R full of MP3's would it be recognised just like a CD-R? Does the player allow you to 'random play' a complete CD-R or DVD-R disk?

Also I understand the Pioneer has a few MP3 glitches (time display shows double the time it should and it only displays 8.3 filenames). Anyone know if these have been or will be addressed with a firmware upgrade?

  4. let's see...4.7GB disc full of mp3s, encoded properly, should give you solid listening for roughly 6 years.

  6. logically and theoritical speaking, it should work if the player supports mp3 playback...it shouldn't matter what disc format the mp3s are on
