I can get a a DVR from Charter Cable. It has S video out, Digital audio out and RCA audio/vidio outs. The instruction shows how to hook up a VCR.
Can I use a DVD Recorder instead of a VCR?
Any technical problems I might experience like interlacing problems?
Will the recording be as good as the original?
Which DVD recorder should I use?
I'm a newbie on this page and need some guidance from the experts. This seems like a cheaper option then buying a DVD recorder with a hard drive. I want to make a couple of copies of football games I record. Any advice will be appreciated.

3) It depends on a number of factors (for example: recording quality selected, your eyes, etc).
