  1. i got a hp 400i. i don't know much about buring. i got nero 6, everyting when i try to burn a dvd movie into a 4.7g black dvd disk it won't let me. what kind of programs i need to burn dvd movies to dvd? i use dvd shrink to save on harddrive what program do i need to burn it so it will play on dvd player?

    You should use Nero. I still use version 5, but you should the wizard to tell you when to load all the files you ripped with DVD Shrink to the Nero. When the wizard opens up a blank directory for your DVD files look for the VIDEO_TS folder. Darg all your IFOs, VOBs, BUPs, etc. files you ripped into that VIDEO_TS folder. Then Burn, baby, burn.

  4. ok when i use nero, i click on copy dvd and it will start the process but when it finish and tell me to put a empty dvd in which i do but it will say compilation will not fit onto blank disk.. i'm using a philips 4.7.g dvd+r blank disk. another situation, when i use shrink i could save the dvd movie on the hard drive but when i go to nero and click on dvd rom iso in nero it will burn onto the blank disk but it can't play on the dvd player. what am i'm doing wrong.. and how do i compress the movie so it will fit into the blank dvd disk.

    Does your backup DVD using DVDShrink+Nero play on your PC ? If it plays on your PC and not on standalone DVD player, then there might be DVD+R media compatibility issue with your DVD player.

  7. ok how do u guys copy your dvds movie into a blank dvd disk. what programs and what step do u guys use in order to copy a dvd movie into a dvd disk. and what kind of dvd media you guys use?

    Just curious, does that VIDEO_TS folder includes the audio too?
