  1. This is probably a simple question, but I haven't found a way to do it yet.
If I have multiple clips in Premiere (I have version 1.5), for example a bunch of photos as a slideshow, and I want to apply the same effect to them all, how do I do it? I know how to select the multiple clips and how to only select the audio or video across multiple clips, but when they're all selected, the effects dialog isn't active.
For example, if I want to select two photo clips and rotate them both, the effects tab doesn't appear to be active and allow me to do it.
    Any advice?
    thanks

  2. Don't select the clips. The easiest way to do the effects is to drag and drop the effect from the effects palette to the clip.

    1) Put the effect on one clip.
    2) Select that clip and hit CTRL + C (copy)
    3) Select all other clips
    4) Right-Click and choose "Paste Atributes"

    That should do it.

Does Adobe use project settings (or a similar name) where you can apply attributes to the entire project such as audio type, video type. Take a look there. Just a suggestion, that's how Media Studio Pro works. You can apply filters or effects for the entire video there or to single clips by dragging and dropping them on the timeline.

  6. Ok, I've got another one for you.
I have a slideshow which I created, and each picture is the default 5 seconds. I want to use it for a different audience and change the duration of each slide to 7 seconds. Is there a way to select them all and make the change at one time?

Go into Project Settings > Stills. The default setting is 150 Frames (5 sec). If you want the default to be 7 sec, change it to 210 Frames.

    * Note You need to change the settings before you import the images.

ok, but but what about if i've previously imported everything at some duration and later want to universally change the duration of all the clips? it would seem so logical to select them all and change the duration in one step, but no...
