Lunchtime Celebration

I have just got back to the office after a few lunchtime drinks with some colleagues. Nothing special in that you may think, but actually this was just the start of our celebrations.

My employer has just 'settled' a court case with Microsoft. The official line is 'no admission of wrongdoing' by either party. You read the reports and make your own mind up on that one.

I was involved as one the developers of the disputed product and this has meant many hours of meetings with company lawyers as well as a 7 hour grilling by a MS lawyer during deposition. I am just glad it is all over.
