    Hello,

Ok so the Vikings lost again.....

And the Patriots/Colts game is 6-3 Patriots at the half?????? I thought it would be 24-18 by now or some other high score....

But it's still a good game so far with lots of hitting

    Kevin

--- I want the Patriots to win! Go BRADY!!!! (former Michigan QB! ) ------

    20-3 over the Colts!

Man lots of hitting and the Patriots had a stifiling defense!

    Whewww....

my steelers got very LUCKY <Ben >

**** the Vikings and **** Randy Moss, I'm glad they lost, I wouldn't give the sweat off my right nut to see Randy Moss While I don't like the Iggles and do not like McNabb and I bundle T.O. in with my Randy Moss sentiments...The Iggles were the lesser of 2 evils, and if the truth be known, if Pittsburgh can get by the Patriots, I would rather see Philly in the Bowl than Atlanta.

Hey Indianapolis....you can't win a Superbowl with no defense...The Chargers tried it in the Dan Fouts era...those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it dumbass Good defense beats good offense everyday of the week...everyone else already knows that

Also happy for the Falcons, not that I like the Falcons but I don't like Mike Martz <smug bastard>, what happened to the "Greatest Show on Turf"??? What's this you say...that "Vick" guy is quick?...he's fast?....holy shit...seems to me that you should have figured out how to slow down Atlanta's defense. 47-17???? Holy shit, that's pathetic, hell Ohio State wouldn't have given up 47 to them.

All in all, I think the 4 best teams are playing for the shot. My Steelers make me nervous and I might have to send Cowher the bill for the open heart surgery I had saturday after suffering 4 heart attacks in the last 3 minutes + overtime there saturday. I also think the Superbowl will be played this Sunday at 6:30 pm, Steelers vs Patriots.

    Go Steelers

I know our Steeler's beat the Pat's teh last time, but that was without a running game. Now they have Dillon back and are healthy. I think we are in for some trouble.

It all depends on the Buss and the Duce.

I love how the Patriot's crutch for losing to the Steelers earlier is not having Dillon. Has anyone run on the Steelers all year? Will Dillon run on them this Sunday? NO! Does anyone mention the Steelers were using their BACKUP QB?

Ben will be just fine. Good teams find a way to win games they shouldn't (NYJ). How was Ben in OT? Was there pressure then? To all you naysayers I say...Up Your Nose With A Rubber Hose! The Steelers will win this game!

Doesn't matter who wins, neither is going to beat the Eagles in the SB.

While I am not going to say the Steelers won't win...because I think they can, and I do not believe Dillon will have 100 yards rushing...I mean...he didn't run wild against them as a Bengal...he was shit in Cincinnati, shit is shit, it doesn't matter how you wrap it

The 2 plays that concern me are the INT returned for a TD, just a little air under that one and Randal El walks in, and the one with 1:38 left, right after the FG that hit the cross bar.

BUT I also didn't think Pittsburgh made a concerted effort to run the football like they have all season. There have been several times this season where they just strapped it up and brought it. They didn't do that, and I think they will Sunday.

Also noticable was that Randle El didn't touch the ball much against the jets, have to involve him.

But with all that being said...Pittsburgh's defense is #1 in the league, If I had to put money on it, I'd bet on the Steelers. Defense Wins Championships...
...which incidently is exactly why the Iggles won't win the Superbowl. Of the 4 remaining teams, they have the worst defense of the bunch, plus they only played the Vikings, who shouldn't have been there anyway <Farve >

You mean the Defense that was tied for the fewest points allowed during the regular season? Which by the way gave away the last two regular season games. :P

The only meanigful game they lost was against Pittsburgh.

I admit that I took some liberty there with the Iggle's defense...
I don't know their stats, I just don't like them

But the meaningful game they lost was to the STEELERS and they had T.O. I stand by my preseason statement when I said that Brian Westbrook was trash. Although, "trash" might be pretty harsh wording...he is certainly not one of the top 10 RB's in the League.

What sucks is that if it is a Steelers/Eagles Superbowl...that it will be played in Jacksonville

They should let them play it at Happy Valley...that would be Awesome and I'll be they would set an attendance record for Superbowls.

You mean Valley, at least this year. I've always thought at the very least there should be a rotation of the Super bowl to all the home fields as opposed to a few in the domes or warmer climates. Of course that wouldn't make the big-wigs too happy if they had to sit in 10 drgree weather. I say ****'em, probably the only damn game they are going to watch all year anyway.

I do think it is a crying shame that a place like Green Bay has never hosted a Superbowl.

And if they ever did, I'll bet Janet wouldn't be pointing things out on stage like she did last year...all be it pointing to the ground

    BUMP!

    So the games are tomorrow......

I have a feeling VICK is gonna sink PHILLY for their 4th straight Championship loss...

The PATS-Steelers game looks to be a good one

Not likely - It'll be the PATS again (no offense NORTHCAT I just think BRADY will whip the Steelers Defense )

Great post. The Steeler D often gets "whipped".
    LOL

This game is going to be a wake-up call for the euphoric Boston area fans.

Will a blizzard stop Donovan McNabb from throwing deep?

Can Michael Vick get proper footing on a snowy field?

We'll leave those questions to the experts in the Sports department. Here at Blitz Package, snow at an Eagles game means just one thing:

    Snowballs.

Indeed, among the fans in the stands is Ed Rendell, who admits to paying a guy 20 bucks to hit the field with a snowball. Rendell is elected mayor two years later.

For this Sunday's NFC championship, then, Philadelphia fans clearly have the snowball edge. Annual average snowfall in Atlanta is less than 2 inches.
