    Could be...they are pretty good.

Pitt is doing pretty good, but I'm not sure they are such a "good" team just yet. They need to beat a team with at least a winning record first.

No, that's the way the Vikings operate. The Lions are just supposed to suck all season :P

Actually, I think they're finally getting their act together. This was in my opinion, a momentary setback. Go Lions!

Or a reality check Time will tell.

Harrington looks pretty good though, Roy Williams is a beast, just have to see. I'm not a Lions fan by any stretch but they don't look bad.

I know, it's just tough to see them get blown out. If they had Charles Rodgers and Roy Williams healthy they could score whenever they wanted to.

I think part of the problem is Harrington hones in on one receiver too much. Earlier it was always to Williams. Now it's always to Hakim. Streets had hardly any touches. They need to balance the receivers they still have.

I was suprised they didn't put McMahon in early in the Third Quarter after they were struggling big and down in the hole. I thought it would have done a better job of shaking up Joey. (not saying McMahaon is the answer just trying to get Harrington back on track).

--I guess we should be talking about more than just the Lions, I mean there are 31 other teams in the league!! (but I only regularly watch the lions!)--

    EDIT -- NUMBER 3000!!! ()

I am happy for the lions.

Maybe they are ready to shead their loser tag that they have held for so many years.

    Hello,

Well since the Red Sox won the World Series the next big game is the Superbowl (well skipping over the college bowl games since that should go in the college football thread ).

    Hello,

Well kickoff's in about 1 1/2 hours for the Lions vs Cowboys game

The cowboys are favored but why??? They've lost four straight or something like that.

Any chance of seeing Drew Henson??? Or is he on the Houston Texans??????

Who cares if the Cowboys are favored? The Lions have had the Cowboy's number for years.

    Hello,

    Lions lose 31-21.

They had a shot when it was 24-21 with 5 min left. The offense just wasn't clicking enough. That last td by Dallas hurt.

Oh well, 3-1 on the road this year is WAY better than anyone figured.

    How bout' MY Steelers though!!!!

Agreed that New England played like shit(I say this as a fan, as a coach, I am fully aware that Pitt had a lot to do with how NE played), and that helps but a win is a win and we'll definitely take it.

Next week....no rest for the wicked....Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia hocked:

Attention Tommy Maddux - you have been officially replaced.

    Steelers - 27
    Iggles - 3

THREE!!! are you kidding me? THREE

How about a big ol' "**** YOU T.O." from your friends in Steel town

T.O. needs to go hang out with Chad Johnson, so they can get a discount rate on Huggies and pacifiers. It's still the NFL boys, if you can't run it, you're going to lose, so why don't you 2 STFU and go block a safety.

But RUT-RO....Pittsburgh now has an offense to go with their defense...

<not prepared to say the "Super...." word yet, but Blitzburgh is looking pretty good, and with Bettis and Deuce...2 big backs, they don't lose much from one to the other.>
