American football, of course. Which is a pissant compared to proper footie.

I do not love green bay. I am not a cheesehead.

  2. I always root for Favre, he's a class act. And GreenBay, still the only team owned by the fans. It's my dads team so maybe I'm a little partial.

But the Steelers are my team, just have to sit through the bad times and work toward the future.

Nah.... I'm sure EVERYBODY liked to watch Barry Sanders when he was here. Also, back when we had a SHOT at the playoffs everybody wanted us to play the SPOILER! Besides I think a few displaced Michiganians still root for the Lions wherever they are. .

Everyone loved Barry, and it's a damn shame he retired early because of BS from that team.

I'm in line to get my season tickets at Lambeau. I still have another 14 years to wait since my parents put me in line when I was 16. Where else is there a line that long for season ticket holders in the NFL? I'm honestly curious, I don't know what other teams have for waits.

Yeah but Green Bay and Cleveland have the most rabid fans, and maybe the Raiders. Tailgating around Lambeau before a game is something you need to witness to really appreciate. I've been to a few games there and it's just unreal.

That the Lions have a chance against the Eagles,:0 it's not even out of the first quarter and it's already 14-0 for the Eagles
The Seahawks will win it all this year.
Just shut up and listen dumbass

I still don't see what's so funny. They're still our Lions, and we're still pulling for them. We're Lions fans, not best-team-at-the-moment fans.

I respect every team in the NFC North save one, and it's that one's fans that ruin the respect I have for the talent in that team.

As much as the Lions have improved, they are still not very good, I think Coalman was just poking fun at Yoda's unbridled(naive)optimism.
Yes it's obvious your Lions fans and there is nothing wrong with that, but I'm not a best team of the moment fan either, I have been a Rams fan since they were in LA.
I was just commenting that Seattle looks very good this year and are my pick for the Superbowl.

    Second Quarter
    21-0 Eagles not!

Eagles fan my entire life, even when Randall was the qurterback although I don't like to admit it.

I have no respect for the eagles.

I remember the snowball batteries and the fans cheering when Michael Irvin hurt his neck and had to be carried out on a stretcher.

    No Class.

Ugh, the Vikings are making mistakes left and right but the Bears are getting some awful calls/no-calls from the officials. WTF is up with that?

    Hello,

    Poor Lions!!!

But hey that Roy Williams is something else isn't he???? Too bad Charles Rodgers is out or we'd have two of the best receivers in the league.

They still have the same problems. They get offense, but no defense. Still my Lions, though.

    Hello,

Arghhh!!! I'm gonna miss the Lions game tomorrow!

I'm helping a friend move into a new apartment tomorrow at 1pm est! I forgot about the game! Oh well, that way I won't see the Lions narrowly lose to the shify Falcons.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't seen a live NFL game in five years. At least we both gave it up for good reasons.

    Hello,

Sorry, low blow. I forgot, my condolences.

Though on the bright side, you missed the Lions 2-12 season

Not to worry. I'll catch up when I retire, hopefully. And losing seasons from the past will make the championship season seem so much better.

    Tommyknocker???? Tommyknocker???? Tommyknocker????

    Come in Tommyknocker?!?!?!?!

I think you should get a complete physical. And a cat scan. Championship season for the DETROIT LIONS????

I want it to happen but the best I see is a run into the last round of the playoffs, maybe a superbowl berth. But we're cursed! We may make it to the big dance by the end of the decade but going all the way on top just doesn't seem likely.
