Plextor PX-712A Burn Process Failed.

I just bought my brand new Plextor PX-712A
But it will not complete one burn.

It start burning but somewere during the burn is gives me the error Burn Process Failed.
I tried many speed rate 8x. 6x 4x

System Info:
Asus mainboard
Intel Chipset
P4 3.2Mhz
1024 DDR PC2700

Burn Software info:
NERO 6.3.02

Media:
Platinum DVD+R 8X

Firmware:
1.05
I got it with 1.03 did not work so I upgrade to 1.05 but still the same.

I have always use Platinum with my Pioneer.

Looks like the drive is not operating in DMA mode. This could be the problem.

Turn on DMA

you should have DMA turned on both your plextor's

if you have INTEL APPLICATION ACCELERATOR installed that could be the problem. try uninstalling it and use the microsoft drivers instead. similar posts are at the Plextor forum at cdfreaks.com

But In Hardware devices the DMA is on also in the BIOS.
It says that device 1 is set to DMA mode 4 and the other is DMA mode 2
Thx for the cdfreaks forum big help over there aswell, but my problem still presist

I have allot of stuff on my HDD and unable to burn them so I can reinstall Windows.
