I'm encoding DV-avi to SVCD(PAL). Last time I was using deinterlace (double adaptation) under Advanced settings. For video source type I used interlace. Under Video - Encode mode I used interlace. The final mpeg was much, much better than without deinterlacing. What did I do actually?
