SVCD will not load in TMPGEnc3XP

I have a group of SVCD's files that I downloaded that I cannot get to load into TMPGEnc3XP. Once I add them my computer simply hangs. Has anyone encountered this? I can get them to load into a friend's Canopus Procoder and I can also get them to load into Nero6 (which will reformat them to VCD which is what I want to do) and then bring the VCD back to my hard drive with IsoBuster.

I once let my computer hang for a couple hours and got a message box back saying parse error. Any recommendations?

You can try going to environmental settings/VFAPI plugins and raising the priority on the direct show filter until its top on this list. (right click to raise priority.) It will probably load the file but this is really an inellegant solution.

Mpeg2 sources, like what SVCDs use, should be frameserved to TMPGEnc via DVD2avi.
