Text is too far down

I encoded my anime clip into pal format using TMPGenc and burnt it with nero. When i watch it on my dvd the text is far too down making it hard to see it. My dvd can only play pal format. What is it that's making my text far down the bottom?

What you are seeing is overscan,when you encode with tmpgenc crop the video so that you have black borders of around 16 pixels,this way the text wont get cutoff on the bottom.

Settings/clip frame/arrange settings/arrange method center(custom size) so if your image size is 720x480 then set the custom size to 704x464 or whatever is needed to keep the text from being overscanned.
