    I cannot find this program ANYWHERE in the web. I've scoured MS's site with no luck. Any suggestions?

    Are you talking about media player??

    Windows Media player comes pre-installed on Pocket PCs. An old version is available for Handheld PCs (i.e., Windows CE 2.0/2.11/3.0) and is probably still available on the Microsoft site for download.

    Windows Media Player is a pretty poor media player in any case (but necessary for WMV --> but why are you compressing video in this format?).

    For audio players, you can get much better MP3/OGG/WMA software players... some of them free, some commecialware. I use PocketMusic but many people say that GSPlayer is better.

    For video players (i.e., MPEG/DivX/XviD), look for PocketMVP or BetaPlayer. There is a RealMedia player available for Pocket PC as well.
