  1. Hey guys i knows it been asked and i have had a look at the forums nothing really helped me much cause every person was doing a different type of conversion

I did exactly wat i do to every other divx/xvid video and open it in virtualdub mp3 scan for errors - no errors
then reopen in normal VD compress to no compression (PCM) then convert to 48000 khz then save the wav

    open tmpgenc plus 2.5
choose ntsc as its 29 fps put audio in put video in choose maxium quality (btw converting to DVD)
it starts and then get the error index of scan line is out of range error (240)

    im absolutely clueless

file information is 320 X 240 compression is in DivX and the audio i dont think you need as i saved to wav

    Thanx for any help

  4. Well I got the same error and I fixed it by putting Directshow Multimedia File Reader to top priority in Options->Environmental Settings->VFAPI Plugin.
    worked straight away

  5. I've made a great discovery: If you take the Mac's D-Vision's Tools section and "Rebuild the Index" of a problem AVI file, as I was having, in an attempt to encode/convert to DVD over at PC's TMPGEnc, it will fix that file for you. I was having "index scan line" problem and not knowing how the files are processed on PC, I was stumped what to do. But "Rebuilding the index" did the trick and I now can process file just fine! Great!

But how can the Index be rebuilt using PC tools?
