  1. Hi

sorry I could not find the right forum for this question.

I got a new DVD Recorder last week, type:
    <_NEC DVD_RW ND-2510A> Version: 2.05 - HA 2

I have a new version of Nero Express installed:
    Nero version: 6.3.1.20

I can burn DVD+R discs without problems but I when I try to burn DVD-R discs I get a command sequence error! The recorder should burn both types.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

For more information see the error log from Nero included below.

    Regards,
    KristĂ*n

I've seen a lot of posts lately about nero. Have you updated it, I think there's a patch to resolve issues with the SP2 update.

  3. Hi

yes I updated it last week because the older version didn't seem do recognize -R discs and just spit them out. After the update, it accepts the -R discs but cant burn them.

And the firmware for your burner? Sorry I probably should have mentioned that before. Carefully read the following information from thios link. Twice if possible Find out as much as possible before installing..... I can't find much on the nec website but research it thoroughly.
