Cold callers...

I usually screen my calls with the answering machine. Anybody that calls me wants something any ways. (freinds, family, work, salesloosers they all want something) Some times I get rude by asking if this is the best job that they can find. I think that phone soliciting should be banned. I pay for the phone service, it is in my house and they are trying to take my time and money. I think that they are inpieding on my right to pursue happiness. Maybe next time I will sue them. (Although shooting them in the knee would be more fun)

I have a Telezapper, although I have voicemail, so it only works when I pick up the phone and that's pretty rare. I'm not listed but I still get calls. The ones that bug me the most are the pre recorded messages. If you don't have the time to talk to me, don't call me (although I've heard they're actually illegal and have been for some time). I hardly use my home phone for anything but toll free calls or when my cell is dead and I need to make a quick call. I use my cell for everything else. Anyone I want to talk to has my cell number. To be perfectly honest, if I could get the rate I get on DSL without having to have home phone service, I would, or at least switch to VoIP.
