The left lane IS for PASSINGi think its a law in most states.. BUT hardley anyone knows it. it seems that if a person is doing 75 in the left lane hes goung fast enough and he dont need to get over.. some people even call it the "fast lane" but we all know its for passing.. so all you butt heads move the hell outa my way.. im in a hurry lol..
I have a 45 min drive to work every day and i do atleast 80 some times im 95mph.. and there are times i even get passed.. guess it just depends on what car i drive to work that day.
anyway yeah. MI is a fast place. but if you get cought at the wrong time "rush hour" then your at 45 for miles. sometimes stoped.. ive taken 3+ hours to get home at times in the winter with all the rubberneckers.

most common used hand singal by michigan drivers =
I have used it a few times myself passing slow drivers in the left lane. -
I live in Caboolture, and comute to Brisbane (Australia)
Going to work takes me 1hour and 10 minutes,
Coming home 35 minutes.
The trip is 35km.
If I catch the train rather than drive, it is 1hour standing on the train plus 30 minute walk. -
One thing I DON'T miss is Chicago traffic. In Chicago traffic there are only two seasons, Winter and Construction. About the only time you really didn't have to worry about much traffic from one end of the city to the next was between 2am and 4am. The problem there is that it never lasted long because some idiot winds up having an accident and VOILA!...traffic, complete with Gaper's Delay. My commute to work is 7-10 min each way now. Not to mention cheaper gas, and less of it.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
