  1. Hi All..... I have managed to extract the vidio stream (Xvid) and the audio stream (wav) from an "ogm" file using virtualdub.
    And then put the two back together again using Dr.Divx, but this took about 4 hours !. Is there anyway of putting the video & audio streams back together without re-encoding?

    Hello,

    Umm... Not that I know of. That's what REENCODING means as far as I can tell. You have to remix the two to make a new video type.

    Cant you just use VirtualDub or Nandub? Theres no need to re-encode anything is there as you only muxing...so use Direct Stream Copy...should take about 5mins.................

    I agree. VirtualDub > Open AVI. On audio menu > WAV Audio > specify WAV file. Set both audio and video to Direct Stream Copy then Save as AVI.
